PADD
membership
is
available
to
counties,
cities
and
villages.
However,
some
seats
on
the
board
of
directors
are
reserved
for
private
sector
representatives.
Other
interested
organizations
and
individuals
are
encouraged
to
attend
meetings
and
become
involved
in
PADD
committees.
There
is
a
minimal
membership
cost
to
communities
and
counties.
PADD
also
serves
as
a
forum
wherein
local
governments
and
organizations
may:
-
Share
local
ideas
and
strategies
for
solving
common
local
problems
and
developing
opportunities.
- Share
resources
that
could
not
be
afforded
on
an
individual
basis.
- Coordinate
and
develop
regional
projects
that
impact
several
communities
simultaneously.
- Access
the
services
of
a
full
time
professional
planning
staff.
